News: 50th Anniversary: Serenity Sundays

Dear all.
We wondered whether you would be able to help us make plans for 2024 and the Tiverton Horse-Drawn Barges 50th Anniversary Celebrations. That's right! We've been running our attraction here in Devon for 50 years! How the time has flown!
As part of our celebratory year, we wanted to bring about some changes to next year's trip schedule. One idea we've had is to increase the number of 1½ hr trips including a 1½ hour on Saturday afternoon.
BUT our BIGGEST idea for would be to a New Type of Horse-Drawn Barge Trip. This would be a 2 ½ hr trip on Sunday afternoon, we are thinking of calling it ‘Serenity Sundays’
This would be our very first ‘Fully Quiet Trip’! It would be for over 18s only and would be an atmosphere where everyone on board would be asked to respect the peace and tranquillity of the full 2 ½hr trip. During the trip you would be able to communicate in soft tones, with the emphasis on a mindful experience, to enjoy peace and tranquillity, observing and listening to the wildlife, water and the horse’s hooves on the Grand Western Canal towpath.
However, before we go ahead, we would like your thoughts on whether you feel this is a good idea? Any thoughts on how we can improve our trips in our 50th year?
