Educational Visits

A Floating Classroom

Our Horse-Drawn Barge "Tivertonian" is one of last remaining Horse-Drawn Barges in Great Britain.  A trip on the Horse-Drawn Barge allows children to experience commercial transport as it used to be on England’s Canals over 200 years ago.

Informative commentary can be delivered based on the age of the students and teachers and curriculum requirements.  Visits could also be combined with Environmental activities offered by Devon County Council’s Ranger service.
