Public Speaking

2018: Phil is currently taking a break from his speaking commitments.

If you belong to a Club, Society or Community Group, you may like to consider inviting Phil Brind as your next keynote speaker . . . .

Now the proprietor of Tiverton Canal Co, like his parents before him, Phil has been involved with horses and canals all his life, and started working with the Horse-Drawn Barges at Tiverton nearly 30 years ago.

Phil Brind is a light, informative and humorous keynote speaker and talks on his life as a horse-drawn bargeman. Phil, is a past member of the PSA (Professional Speaker’s Association) and will take your group along the towpath of the old Grand Western Canal on a memorable journey from past to present – without even getting your walking boots muddy!
