News: Our beloved horse Dandy retires and settles into new home

We had a day of tears and mixed emotions when we said goodbye to "Dandy" (or "Blue Eyes" as he was called by many of our customers over the years) as he went on to his new home in Nottingham on 31st August.
Dearly loved by us and thousands of others, Dandy officially retired from the horse-drawn barge at Tiverton on Friday, and at the weekend met up with his new owners Andy and Laura who are giving him a loving home. For those of you who would like to follow Dandy's adventures in his new home, there is soon to be a "Dandy Facebook page" which we will post news about here when it is up and running. In the meantime you can see lots of lovely photos of Dandy on Facebook as posted by Laura.
We would like to wish Dandy and his new owners Andy and Laura all the very best for the future from us all... he will be dearly missed!
